Xuxa's 'O Último Voo da Nave' draws 50,000 fans in São Paulo

The Brazilian entertainer Xuxa staged her show "O Último Voo da Nave" at Allianz Parque in São Paulo on July 31, drawing about 50,000 attendees for the evening and roughly 100,000 across the two performances in the city. Journalist and presenter Rodrigo Lico attended as a guest of Itaú and described the concert as a nostalgic return to his childhood, recalling how Xuxa's programs shaped his early years.

Separately, Cid Guerreiro, the composer of Xuxa's 1980s hit "Ilariê", recounted his rise to millionaire status from the song’s worldwide success and his subsequent conversion to evangelical Christianity. Now 66, Guerreiro lives in Aquiraz, Ceará, where he works as a gospel singer and missionary with his wife Andrea Meirelles.
