XXL acquires Nordic wool brand Ulvang from Brav

XXL has acquired the Nordic wool apparel brand Ulvang from Brav AS. The acquisition includes the brand name as well as its associated rights and assets.

Ulvang, which focuses on wool base layers, socks, and sweaters, has been owned by Brav for the past twenty years. XXL CEO Nick Fox stated that the company intends to invest in product development, distribution, and market visibility to reach more customers and expand the brand's presence across the Nordic region.

Brav AS is divesting the brand to restructure its operations and free up capital to focus on its core brands. Vegard Ulvang, the brand's founder, expressed support for the deal, noting his belief in the future of classic Norwegian wool products.
