Defense Minister Yaşar Güler emphasizes 'Terror-free Turkey' in Kars

Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler emphasized the 'Terror-free Turkey' goal during a series of visits to Kars. He stated that the objective is to completely remove terrorism and violence from the national agenda while strengthening the thousand-year brotherhood between Turks and Kurds.

Güler noted that the unity of Turks and Kurds serves as a fundamental building block for peace in the region. During his program, which included visits to the 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Command, the Kars Governor's Office, and the Kars Municipality, he addressed the shifting security balances in the world and the increasing risks and threats in the region.

The Minister highlighted that the Turkish Armed Forces continue to work day and night both domestically and across borders to ensure national security and public peace. He added that maintaining stability and peace will contribute to the country's economic and technological development.
