Yachiyo Solutions procures J-Credits to offset AWS emissions

Yachiyo Solutions Co., Ltd., the provider of the factory management system MENTENA, has announced the procurement of forest-derived J-Credits to offset CO2 emissions associated with its use of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The company calculated its carbon footprint based on emission data provided by AWS regarding the power consumption of servers used to run the MENTENA cloud service. To mitigate this environmental impact, Yachiyo Solutions purchased forest-derived J-Credits from enechain Co., Ltd. for the period spanning July 2024 to June 2026.

Through this initiative, the company aims to ensure the sustainable provision of its asset management services while contributing to a sustainable society by reducing the environmental load of its business activities.
