Yacht racing industry and championship updates

The Yacht Racing Forum is scheduled to return to Amsterdam on 19-20 November 2026. The event will convene leaders from the marine industry, technology, and media to discuss the state of the sailing industry, including the impact of geopolitical and economic developments. A key session will focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping yacht design, performance, race strategy, and fan engagement.

Separately, the 2026 RS21 World Championship will take place at the Yacht Club de Cannes, France, from 28–31 October. The competition features 40 entries from 14 countries, including defending world champions Les Freaks from Hong Kong and the women’s world champions Magique et Terrible from Italy. Other notable contenders include Poland’s Ultrastar and the Italian Cup champions, T-Rex.
