Yacine Chaïb set to join MC Alger from Olympique Lyonnais

Yacine Chaïb, a 21-year-old left-back trained at the Olympique Lyonnais academy, is expected to join MC Alger. The move follows interest from several clubs, including USM Alger, but MC Alger reportedly secured the player's signature.

Chaïb, who is an Algerian U23 international, is under contract with Lyon until June 2027. He recently gained experience on loan at RWDM Brussels in Belgium, where he made 21 appearances and provided four assists. The transfer to the Algerian league is seen as an opportunity for the player to gain more professional playing time and integrate further into the Algerian national team setup.
