Yacuanquer reforestation initiative plants 200 species

An environmental initiative in the Zaragoza district of Yacuanquer has resulted in the planting of over 200 plant species at the Condominio Campestre Zaragoza and surrounding areas. The project was led by Ana Lorena Caicedo Bolaños, director of the Fundación Eco Ciudad, who facilitated the donation of the vegetation.

The reforestation effort involved collaboration between the civil community, the Fundación Eco Ciudad, and the Colombian National Army. Members of the military assisted with land preparation and the planting process to support local ecosystem recovery and biodiversity protection.
