Yafa' Rasad schools honor top students and teachers

Schools in the Yafa' Rasad district of Abyan Governorate are holding a series of ceremonies to honor top-performing students and teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Ali bin Abi Talib ‘Al-Marbad’ School hosted a ceremony sponsored by businessman Sheikh Sayel Ali Salem Al-Salami to celebrate student achievement and recognize the contributions of educators and social supporters. School director Naif Qasim Khadr emphasized that the success of the students was a result of hard work and perseverance.

Simultaneously, the Salem Abdul Rabb Al-Adna School for boys and the Khawla School for girls are organizing celebrations to encourage scientific excellence. As part of this initiative, sponsored by businessman Thabit Rajeh Haitham bin Ali and supervised by Sheikh Muncer Haitham, teachers will receive a financial incentive of 50,000 Yemeni Rials in recognition of their roles.

The celebrations are part of a broader series of events in the district, including upcoming ceremonies at Mohsen Al-Amoudi Secondary School for girls—noted for producing a national top scorer—and Salem Saleh Secondary School.
