Yaga series premieres at Toronto International Film Festival

The supernatural mystery series Yaga, starring Carrie‑Anne Moss, Hudson Williams, Noah Reid and Clark Backo, will have its world premiere in the Primetime lineup of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 10‑20. The eight‑episode Crave production, based on Kat Sandler’s play, reimagines the Baba Yaga myth as a contemporary thriller set in a small coastal town.

Yaga was filmed this winter in Victoria, British Columbia. The plot follows private investigator Napp (Noah Reid) as he investigates the disappearance of a local fishery heir, confronting a cast of enigmatic suspects and ancient magic. The series is a co‑production of Bell Media Studios, Blink 49 Studios and Front Street Media and will stream in the United States on AMC+ and internationally on other platforms.
