YAGEO Group expands MLCC and tantalum polymer capacitor portfolio for automotive AI and ADAS

YAGEO Group announced an expanded multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) portfolio that combines YAGEO and KEMET technologies. The range covers a broad spectrum of dielectric materials, capacitance values, voltage ratings and package sizes for commercial, automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace and defence applications. It is intended to help designers of increasingly compact, high‑density and high‑voltage electronic systems, including electric vehicles, AI servers, data centres, humanoid robots and other advanced platforms.

In parallel, YAGEO introduced new high‑capacitance‑voltage (T598) automotive‑grade tantalum polymer capacitors, offering 220‑330 µF at 2.5 V in an EIA 3528‑20 footprint with single‑digit ESR. The parts are AEC‑Q200 qualified and target high‑current AI‑domain controllers, ADAS sensing ECUs, RADAR/LiDAR modules and robotics where space, efficiency and long mission profiles are critical.
