Yaizu City to host BON BON BON 2026 summer festival

The summer festival BON BON BON 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 22 and 23, 2026, at Kiyomida Park in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Organized by nonii Co., Ltd., the event aims to attract approximately 13,000 visitors over the two-day period.

The festival features a diverse lineup of entertainment, including a live stage with artists spanning genres from shamisen and folk music to reggae and pop, alongside performances by comedians. A central highlight is the ‘BONDANCE’ segment, where DJs remix traditional Bon Odori songs for attendees to dance around a ceremonial tower (yagura).

Additional attractions include a market with over 40 food and goods vendors, a ‘Yokocho’ area featuring nostalgic Showa-era games, a water play area for water gun battles, and a lantern night event. Special activities include a ‘Mini Ondo’ dance inspired by the Minions franchise.
