Yakult celebrates one year of peach-flavored fermented milk in Brazil

Yakult is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Yakult Pêssego in the Brazilian market. Launched in September 2025, this fruit-flavored fermented milk was developed to meet specific consumer demand in Brazil.

Following strong market acceptance, the company announced plans to expand its fruit-flavored line with the launch of Yakult Morango in August 2026. The initiative aims to attract new customers and increase the consumption of the brand's signature probiotic, Lactobacillus casei Shirota (LcS).

Atsushi Nemoto, president of Yakult do Brasil, stated that the company is innovating to meet the diverse needs of its long-standing Brazilian customer base, which has existed for 58 years. Each 80g bottle of the peach-flavored product contains 16 billion units of the LcS probiotic.
