Yala hosts Festival y Concurso de la Cabeza Guateada

The town of Yala is hosting a new edition of the Festival y Concurso de la Cabeza Guateada this Saturday at the local Polideportivo. The event, which begins at 20:00, combines regional gastronomy, live music, and community celebration.

The festival features a culinary competition with ten full slots for participants to compete for prizes judged by specialists. In addition to the contest, dining areas will offer hot portions of cabeza guateada and other regional dishes to the public.

The musical lineup includes Christian Herrera as the headliner, alongside performers such as Los Salteñísimos Cantores del Alba, Lorito Álvarez, Amanda Albero, Los Brillantes Latinos, Lautaro Tolaba, Los Tejeda, and Gerónimo Saravia. The official launch was supported by Jujuy's Secretary of Culture, José Barcena, and Yala Mayor Santiago Tizón.
