Yale Library announces student events and resource fair

Yale Library is launching several initiatives to welcome new and returning students for the upcoming academic year. An Academic Resource Fair will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Sterling Memorial Library and the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, providing information on university programs and workshops.

Students can participate in the ‘Discover Yale Library’ program by using a passport-style guide to visit 12 different library locations. Those who visit eight locations by Oct. 12 can earn library merchandise and an additional entry into a raffle for a private study room in Bass Library for the fall semester.

Librarian-led tours are scheduled between Sept. 1 and Oct. 13, including sessions at Sterling Library, the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, and the Haas Family Arts Library. Additionally, the library has launched a newly designed website to assist undergraduate students.
