Yale University is expanding its academic offerings in the fields of biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence. The university has introduced a Master of Health Science in Medical Artificial Intelligence through the Yale School of Medicine. This online program, which includes in-person sessions, aims to train professionals to develop and implement AI tools in clinical settings, addressing a shortage of experts capable of bridging technical and clinical disciplines.

Additionally, Yale offers a Master’s in Personalized Medicine & Applied Engineering (PMAE). This program focuses on the intersection of medicine and engineering, emphasizing 3D surgical innovation, 3D printing, and AI-driven imaging to prepare students for careers in medical device development and translational research.
