Yamada Bee Farm to launch new functional food for middle-aged women

Yamada Bee Farm has announced the launch of ‘Queens Balance’, a new functional food product scheduled for release on September 1, 2026. The product is the first in Japan to utilize royal jelly-derived fatty acids—specifically 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid and 10-hydroxydecanoic acid—to target physical and mental changes in middle-aged women.

Research suggests these fatty acids may help mitigate temporary anxiety and physical discomfort in the back and waist by protecting nerve cells. The product also includes supporting ingredients such as soy isoflavones, calcium, and zinc.

In addition to product developments, Yamada Bee Farm continues to sponsor the Radio NIKKEI program ‘Source of Judgment: Brain Care for Professionals’. The program focuses on brain health for business professionals aged 40–50, featuring guests such as Junretsu leader Kazuyoshi Sakai and soccer commentator Yasutaro Matsuki to discuss maintaining cognitive performance and decision-making skills.
