Yamagata Prefecture to host migration consultation event in Tokyo

The Yamagata Prefecture Migration and Settlement Promotion Center will host the second session of the ‘Yamagata Kurashi Yamamori Consultation DAY’ on October 18, 2026, in Tokyo. The event is scheduled to take place from 13:00 to 15:30 at the Migration and Exchange Information Garden in Chuo-ku, Kyobashi.

Representatives from eight municipalities within Yamagata Prefecture—Tsuruoka, Sakata, Kaminoyama, Tendo, Funagata, Mikawa, Shonai, and Yuza—will be present to provide information regarding local life, including childcare, shopping, and community relations. The event also features employment consultation services to offer a one-stop solution for those considering relocation and finding work in the region.
