Yamaha and Triumph announce motorcycle updates and price cuts

Yamaha has launched an updated 2026 version of the R15 V4 motorcycle. While the mechanical specifications remain unchanged—including the 155 cc VVA engine, 6-speed gearbox, and Deltabox chassis—the update expands the availability of the unidirectional Quickshifter system. The feature is now offered in Racing Blue and Matte Pearl White color options, whereas it was previously limited to the Intensity White variant. The Quickshifter-equipped model is priced at ₹179,500 (ex-showroom), while the non-Quickshifter version is ₹174,850.

In the premium segment, Triumph has announced price reductions for its 400cc series to coincide with the festive season. The Speed 400 has seen a price cut of ₹6,000, bringing its cost to ₹2.34 lakh, and includes ₹6,500 worth of free accessories. The Tracker 400 has been reduced by ₹7,000 to a price of ₹2.42 lakh. These adjustments follow previous price increases earlier in the year.
