CF Moto to enter Superbike World Championship in 2027

Chinese manufacturer CF Moto has announced plans to enter the Superbike World Championship starting in the 2027 season. This move marks the brand as the first Chinese manufacturer to compete directly in the premier Superbike class.

To manage this project, CF Moto has appointed experienced Spanish figure Jorge Aspar Martinez. Martinez, whose team has seen significant success in Moto2 and Moto3, views the entry as a strategic and commercially promising step for the corporation. The expansion coincides with a growing motorcycle racing culture in China, highlighted by the upcoming inaugural Superbike event in Shanghai.

Separately, Yamaha has unveiled updates for its 2027 MT-125 Hyper Naked motorcycle. The model features a redesigned, aggressive aesthetic with a new LED headlight, sculpted fuel tank, and slimmed-down silhouette. While the exterior is refreshed, it retains the 125cc VVA engine, Deltabox frame, and 5-inch TFT display with MyRide smartphone connectivity. The bike will be available in four colors: Ice Storm, Redline White, Icon Blue, and Tech Black, with a market debut expected in the first quarter of 2027.
