Yamaha hosts CustoMAXi 2026 motorcycle modification contest in Bandung

The CustoMAXi Yamaha 2026 competition was held at Bandung Indah Plaza, bringing together 85 participants to showcase customized Yamaha MAXi series motorcycles. The event featured a diverse range of modification styles, including elegant, sporty, and extreme designs, with a heavy emphasis on models such as the XMAX, AEROX, NMAX, and LEXi.

To accommodate growing enthusiasm, the competition expanded its categories this year. In addition to the previous Street Maxi and Super Maxi classes, new categories including Meet-Up Maxi and Master Maxi were introduced to allow for more extreme modifications. Participants utilized various techniques, such as airbrush painting on NMAX and LEXi models, while AEROX entries frequently showcased racing and performance-oriented styles.

Organizers noted that Bandung's strong creative and lifestyle ecosystem makes it an ideal location for the event, often serving as a trendsetter for other regions. The total prize pool for the competition reached Rp47.7 million.
