Yamaha racing teams secure victories in MotoIR and announce ASBK sponsorship

The Yamaha SEC Racing Team achieved multiple podiums and victories during Round 5 of the 2026 Motul MotoIR National Championship at Tarlac Circuit Hill. McKinley Kyle Paz secured pole positions in the Super Underbone LTD GP and Super Underbone Open GP categories, winning the Super Underbone Open GP Sprint Race. April King Mascardo also secured a victory in the Super Underbone Open GP, while Paz and Mascardo shared the Expert podium in the LTD GP category.

In Australia, Yamaha Motor Australia has confirmed its continued sponsorship of the BLU CRU R3 Cup. The competition will be a featured element of the inaugural 2027 ASBK Summer Championship. The cup, which utilizes Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycles, is designed as a development pathway for riders to progress toward international competition. The 2027 schedule includes rounds at One Raceway, Queensland Raceway, Phillip Island, and Sydney Motorsport Park.
