Yamaha Robotics and Wittmann announce new automation technologies for 2026 expos
Yamaha Robotics and Wittmann have announced upcoming showcases of automation technologies at major industry exhibitions in 2026.
At EFX 2026 in Stuttgart, Yamaha Robotics will demonstrate its ‘1 STOP SMART SOLUTION’ for surface-mount technology (SMT). This integrated system connects printing, dispensing, mounting, and inspection processes using YSUP intelligent factory software. Featured hardware includes the YRP10 and YRP10e printers, YRM10 and YRM20 mounters, and the YRi-V AOI inspection platform.
Wittmann will present its latest automation solutions at Fakuma 2026 in Friedrichshafen. The company will debut the WX253 linear robot and the R9 robot controller. The R9 serves as both a controller and a communication platform for connected production cells, supporting up to twelve servo axes and featuring an OPC UA interface. The system includes a TeachBox with a touchscreen and 3D animations, offering three programming levels: QuickNew Wizard, QuickEdit, and TextEditor.
