Yamaha RX-King 135 transformed into retro enduro
Geri Centura of Joyride has completed a custom motorcycle project in Bali titled ‘Amber’, transforming a 2002 Yamaha RX-King 135 into a retro enduro. The build draws aesthetic inspiration from the Yamaha DT models of the 1970s and 1980s, featuring a large front wheel, high fenders, and a compact tank.
The modification extends beyond aesthetics to mechanical performance. The 135cc two-stroke engine has been upgraded with components from a YZ125, while the chassis features a Kawasaki KLX 150 fork and a YSS shock absorber. The project aims to create a lightweight, street-legal motorcycle that retains the responsive, aggressive power delivery characteristic of small two-stroke engines.
