Yamaha teases major new model launch ahead of EICMA

Yamaha has released a cryptic teaser ahead of the EICMA motorcycle show, suggesting a major upcoming product launch. The company stated, “Yamaha is redefining the standard. The industry has followed the same rhythm for quite some time. We are ready for that to change. Something new is coming.”

The teaser features an image of a heart monitor displaying three distinct, irregularly spaced beats. This has led to widespread industry speculation that the new model may feature a three-cylinder engine.

Leading theories suggest the announcement could be a new Ténéré 900 adventure motorcycle, potentially utilizing a modified version of the CP3 engine. Other possibilities include a new naked motorcycle model or a turbocharged three-cylinder engine, following previous patent filings for electronically assisted turbochargers.
