Yamaha to replace R3 with R7 in BLU CRU World Cup from 2027

Yamaha Motor Europe has announced that the FIM Yamaha R7 BLU CRU World Cup will transition to the R7 platform starting in 2027. This change replaces the R3, which has been the competition's mainstay for the past six seasons.

The new series will consist of 12 races held across six European rounds of the World Superbike (WorldSBK) Championship. The competition is designed for riders aged 15 and older, serving as a talent development pathway within the Yamaha Racing ecosystem.

A full season package is priced at 29,000 euros and includes a competition-prepared Yamaha R7, leather equipment, tires, fuel, and race entry fees. The 2027 calendar includes rounds at Assen, Aragon, Most, Donington Park, Magny-Cours, and Cremona.
