Yamaha unveils 2027 MT-125 facelift for European market
Yamaha has introduced the 2027 update for its MT-125 naked motorcycle, specifically targeting the European market. The refresh focuses primarily on aesthetic and ergonomic improvements rather than mechanical changes.
Key design updates include a redesigned fuel tank, a slimmer silhouette, and a new seat shape intended to improve rider comfort for both urban commuting and sporty riding. The front fascia has been completely overhauled with a more aggressive LED lighting signature, featuring blade-style position lights and a translucent, darkened headlight cowl. New color options have been added, including a Redline White scheme, alongside existing colors like Ice Storm, Icon Blue, and Tech Black.
Mechanically, the motorcycle retains its 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, producing approximately 15 PS. The chassis remains the Deltabox frame with 41mm inverted front forks. Technological features include a 5-inch TFT color display with smartphone connectivity via the MyRide app, traction control, and a slipper clutch. The updated model is expected to arrive at European dealerships in the first quarter of 2027.
