Yamaha unveils new retro-inspired color schemes for XSR900

Yamaha has introduced new cosmetic color options for its XSR900 motorcycle lineup, drawing inspiration from the brand’s racing heritage.

The XSR900 GP will receive a ‘Legend Blue’ livery, a design inspired by former French Grand Prix rider Christian Sarron’s YZR500 from the 1980s. This new option features light blue blocks over a darker blue base, accented by iconic yellow racing number squares. The GP model will be available in both this new blue scheme and the existing ‘Legend Yellow’ livery.

Additionally, the 2027 XSR900 model features a ‘Neon White’ colorway. This design pays homage to the YZF750R and YZF750SP racing legends from the 1990s, utilizing an ivory white base with pink and blue accents and silver-finished components.

Despite the aesthetic updates, the mechanical specifications remain consistent. The motorcycles continue to utilize the CP3 engine, with power outputs cited at approximately 117 to 119 hp, alongside standard technology packages including lean angle sensitive traction control and TFT displays.
