Yamaha's Blustar expands motorcycle rentals to Northeast Brazil

Blustar, a motorcycle rental company under Yamaha Motor do Brasil, is expanding its operations into five cities in Northeast Brazil: Fortaleza, Maceió, Teresina, São Luís, and Caruaru. The expansion targets a region that holds nearly 30% of Brazil's motorcycle fleet.

The service is designed for both personal use and professional needs, specifically catering to delivery workers and app drivers. The rental model utilizes the Factor 150 model and includes insurance, IPVA, licensing, a tracker, 24-hour assistance, and preventive maintenance.

Blustar operates through a franchise model integrated with Yamaha's dealership network. The company aims to reach 23 authorized points across Brazil by the end of 2026. While the contract does not automatically transfer ownership, customers have the option to purchase the vehicle through Yamaha Bank.
