Yamanashi Governor visits Uttar Pradesh to discuss green hydrogen cooperation

Kotaro Nagasaki, the Governor of Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture, led a 15-member delegation to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttar Pradesh to strengthen bilateral ties. The visit highlighted a commitment to deepen cooperation between Yamanashi and the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

A primary focus of this partnership is the development of green hydrogen systems to drive economic growth in both regions. Governor Nagasaki emphasized that enhancing energy security through such initiatives would also contribute to global peace.

During the visit, the delegation participated in religious ceremonies and observed the temple's spiritual heritage. The Japanese officials also commended the local government's crowd management efforts during the busy Sawan month.
