Yamasa releases versatile butter soy sauce for udon and stir-fries

Yamasa has released a specialized condiment called ‘Yamasa Ichioshi! Udon Tare Kamatama Butter Shoyu’ designed to simplify seasoning for various dishes. Priced at 375 yen, the 230mL sauce features a base of soy sauce blended with bonito powder, kelp, and butter to provide a rich flavor profile.

The product is designed for ease of use, featuring a squeeze bottle that allows for precise portion control compared to traditional pour-style bottles. It is particularly effective for making Kamatama udon, but can also be used for fried udon, meat and vegetable stir-fries, sautéed mushrooms, and even tofu or omelets.

Other varieties in the series include a salt-based ‘Zesshin! Umashio’ and a spice-based ‘Manzoku Curry’ sauce.
