Yan Couto loaned from Borussia Dortmund to Como 1907

Borussia Dortmund has officially loaned defender Yan Couto to the Italian Serie A club Como 1907. The 24-year-old Brazilian, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City in the summer of 2024, remains under contract with the German club until June 30, 2030.

The one-year loan deal reportedly involves a fee of 3.5 million euros and includes an option to purchase for approximately 22 million euros. Como 1907, which recently qualified for the Champions League, aims to utilize Couto's technical ability and energy on the right side of the pitch.

Como manager Cesc Fabregas praised the player as a “brave and technically strong player” who fits the team's playing style. Couto expressed enthusiasm for the move, describing it as an important step in his career.
