Real Madrid makes €100m bid for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande

Real Madrid have submitted a first transfer offer for 19‑year‑old Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, who plays for RB Leipzig. The bid consists of €90 million in fixed fees plus €10 million in possible bonuses, effectively a €100 million package, as reported by Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic. Leipzig have rejected the proposal, stating that they value the player at a minimum of €120 million and may aim for €130 million, given his contract runs until 2030 with no release clause.

Diomande, a standout at the 2026 World Cup, recorded 12 goals and nine assists in 33 Bundesliga matches last season, attracting interest from several elite clubs including Liverpool, Paris Saint‑Germain, Arsenal, Manchester City and possibly others. The German club has previously turned down a similar offer from Liverpool and claims that PSG’s bid also falls short of their price. Negotiations are ongoing, with reports that Real Madrid may improve their offer.

The saga highlights the high market value placed on young talent and could influence the summer transfer market for top European clubs.
