Yan Diomande links up with Paris Saint‑Germain in transfer talks

RB Leipzig defender Yan Diomande, 19, has reportedly agreed personal terms with French champions Paris Saint‑Germain ahead of the World Cup. The Ivory Coast international said he has loved PSG since childhood and would welcome a move, but emphasized his focus remains on the tournament.

Leipzig’s sporting director Marcel Schäfertold said the club is not under pressure to sell, noting Diomande has no release clause and is contracted until 2030. However, a “truly extraordinary” offer above €100 million could tempt the German side to consider a transfer.

Diomande praised PSG’s recent back‑to‑back Champions League victories and cited his father’s support for the club, while reaffirming his commitment to his current team until a decision is made.
