Yancoal opens 2027 community grants for Hunter Valley groups

Yancoal Australia has opened applications for its 2027 Community Support Program, offering financial assistance to not-for-profit organizations in the Hunter and Upper Hunter Valley regions. The program, funded through the Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) and Ashton Coal mines, targets initiatives in health, community, environment, arts, culture, education, and training.

Recent beneficiaries include the Singleton District Hospital, which received a $34,000 joint donation from MTW and Ashton Coal to purchase new trauma stretchers for urgent patient care. Other past recipients include the Miller Park Bowling Club, which used funding to install safety handrails on its bowling green.
