Yandal Resources reports high‑grade gold mineralisation at Arrakis discovery in Western Australia
Yandal Resources announced that diamond drilling at its Arrakis discovery within the Ironstone Well‑Barwidgee (IWB) gold project in Western Australia has confirmed continuity of high‑grade gold mineralisation at depth. The program drilled four diamond holes, yielding significant intercepts such as 11.5 m at 1.6 g/t Au (including 5 m at 3.1 g/t) from 347.6 m and 18 m at 1.8 g/t Au (including 4.1 m at 5.7 g/t) from 290 m, as well as longer zones of 21.7 m at 0.8 g/t and 10.2 m at 1.3 g/t.
The results show a steep‑plunging, high‑grade domain extending roughly 150 m strike to the south and remaining open below a cross‑cutting shear zone, indicating potential for deeper mineralisation. Yandal will use recent ground‑gravity survey data to refine structural models and plans to publish an exploration target for Arrakis in late July. The IWB project covers 370 km² between the Jundee and Bronzewing mines and already hosts a 268,000‑ounce gold resource at Flushing Meadows.
