Yandex Go expands digital taxi services to Bursa, Turkey

Yandex Go has expanded its digital transportation services to Bursa, Turkey, bringing its total number of operational cities in the country to seven. The service, which launched in Bursa on September 23, 2026, connects passengers with licensed taxi drivers through a digital platform utilizing location-based and smart routing technologies.

Semih Altuğ, Yandex Go Turkey Country Manager, stated that the expansion into Bursa is a strategic step in the company’s goal to create a technology-driven, accessible service network across Turkey’s major transportation routes. The platform aims to improve urban mobility by minimizing wait times and increasing efficiency for both drivers and passengers.

Users can request rides via the application and choose between cash or card payments. The service operates exclusively in collaboration with licensed taxis to support the digitalization of the sector. Following its launch in Istanbul in June 2026, Yandex Go now operates in Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, Ankara, Mersin, Adana, and Bursa.
