Yang Min-hyeok to join KVC Westerlo on loan from Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur winger Yang Min-hyeok is set to join Belgian side KVC Westerlo on loan for the 2026/27 season. The 20-year-old South Korean player has reportedly completed medical tests as the clubs finalize the agreement.

The move is intended to provide the winger with consistent playing time in the Jupiler Pro League, as he has struggled to secure a regular spot in the Tottenham squad under manager Roberto De Zerbi. Tottenham is reportedly looking to strengthen its attack with other targets, leaving little room for Yang in the current tactical plans.

This loan follows previous stints at Portsmouth and Coventry City. Unlike many loan deals, this agreement does not include an option for Westerlo to purchase the player permanently, allowing Tottenham to retain full control over his future.
