Yang Yang and Chen Duling to star in Waiting for the Wind to Kiss You

Actors Yang Yang and Chen Duling have confirmed they will lead the modern romance project, “Waiting for the Wind to Kiss You.” This marks their second collaboration following the 2015 film “Tai Zui.”

Adapted from the novel by author Xi Xi De Miao, the story follows the reunion of Xu Xingchun and Fu Xuele six years after a broken youthful romance. In the series, Fu Xuele is a prominent female star, while Xu Xingchun works as a reserved forensic pathologist.

While the pairing has generated significant interest due to the actors' appearances, public reaction has been mixed. Some fans of the original novel expressed concerns that Chen Duling may lack the specific temperament required for her character, while others voiced apprehension regarding Yang Yang’s acting performance based on his previous works.
