Yanga SC strengthens squad as Israel Mwenda returns to training

Yanga SC right-back Israel Mwenda has officially returned to team training after a period of absence. His return provides the club with additional defensive depth as they prepare for upcoming NBC Premier League fixtures and international competitions.

Head coach Manqoba Mngqithi noted that the squad is showing technical improvement, particularly in its ability to break down defensive teams that employ deep blocks. Following a 4-0 victory against Madagascar's CFFA in the CAF Champions League, Mngqithi highlighted that while the team has mastered creating scoring opportunities, the current focus remains on improving clinical finishing.
