Yangcheon-gu has officially approved the housing construction plan and building permits for the Western Truck Terminal Urban Advanced Logistics Complex development project in Sinjeong-dong. The project aims to transform an aging logistics facility into a high-tech complex integrating residential, commercial, and cultural functions.
With a total investment of approximately 1.9 trillion won, the development will cover an area of about 104,000 square meters. The plan includes the construction of 990 residential units across 10 buildings, as well as smart logistics warehouses, retail facilities, cultural centers, and office spaces. Additionally, the project will feature public amenities such as the Sinjeong Sports Center, which will include a swimming pool and a multipurpose gymnasium.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027, with a target completion date of 2032. The development is expected to serve as a new growth engine for the southwestern region of Seoul while enhancing the quality of life for local residents through improved infrastructure and community facilities.
