Yangcheon-gu to host Chuseok direct transaction market

Yangcheon-gu will host a Chuseok direct transaction market at Yangcheon Park on September 17 and 18. The event features 79 companies from 43 local governments across South Korea, offering various agricultural, fishery, and livestock products, as well as seasonal fruits, at reasonable prices.

To assist residents with holiday shopping, the district is providing several convenience services, including same-day free delivery within Yangcheon-gu, one hour of free parking at nearby public lots, and self-packaging booths. Participating vendors will also voluntarily donate up to 5% of their sales proceeds to the Yangcheon Love Welfare Foundation to support neighbors in need.

Items from sister cities such as Wando-gun (seaweed, anchovies), Hongcheon-gun (honey, deodeok), and Ganghwa-gun (turnip kimchi, ginger syrup) will be available. The market will operate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
