Yangju City hosts inaugural equestrian competition for youth

The first Yangju City Sports Council Chairman's Cup Equestrian Competition was held at the Hanseong Equestrian Club. The event saw significant participation from youth athletes across the northern Gyeonggi region, including students from the Gyeonggi Shared School equestrian education program.

Participants competed in various categories, including obstacle courses of 40cm, 60cm, and 80cm, as well as KHIS-7 and Kwon Seung competitions. The Yangju City Equestrian Association aims to use this event to expand youth and community equestrian sports by identifying talented students and providing training opportunities through talent donations.
