Yangju City to host 2026 Autumn Festa Marathon on October 5

Yangju City has announced that the ‘2026 Yangju Glaucus Autumn Festa Marathon’ will be held on October 5 at Nari Farm. Hosted by the Yangju Sports Council and organized by the Yangju Athletics Federation, the event aims to revitalize the local economy and promote regional tourism by linking sports with the city’s major cultural resources.

The marathon offers four categories: a 3km walk (including a dog-friendly option), 5km, 10km, and a half-marathon. The courses are designed to showcase local landmarks, including Nari Farm, Okjeong Central Park, and the Hoeamsaji Temple Site.

Registration is open for up to 3,000 participants via the official website. To support the local economy, a portion of the entry fees will be refunded to participants in the form of Yangju Love Gift Certificates. Additionally, participants will receive Nari Farm admission tickets to encourage further local tourism.
