Yango Ride reports 31% drop in global traffic violations

Yango Ride has reported a 31% global decrease in grave traffic violations between 2024 and 2025, according to its latest Safety Report. The company attributed the decline to the implementation of updated privacy technology, anti-fraud systems, and 24/7 emergency response services across more than 25 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and MENA.

Regional data shows declines in reckless driving incidents across all reporting areas, including a 38% drop in Africa, 24% in Latin America, and 47% in the Middle East and South Asia. Additionally, the rollout of privacy-protecting call technologies led to a significant reduction in post-trip contacts, which serve as an indicator of off-platform disputes, with decreases of 81% in Peru, 78% in Colombia, and 31% in Pakistan.
