Yangpyeong County links sports facilities and lodging to boost tourism
Yangpyeong County has entered into a business agreement to promote stay-over tourism by linking public sports facilities, athletic events, and local lodging resources. The initiative aims to encourage visitors from outside the region to stay longer and increase local spending, creating a virtuous cycle for the regional economy.
Under the three-year agreement, which runs from October 2026 to October 2029, various benefits will be provided starting in the fourth quarter of this year. For example, visitors who provide proof of staying at partner accommodations can access the Yangpyeong Park Golf Course via same-day on-site ticketing, bypassing the previous requirement for one-week advance reservations. Additionally, guests using partner accommodations can receive up to 10% of their lodging fees back in Yangpyeong Love Gift Certificates.
