Yankees call up Spencer Jones as Cody Bellinger heads to injured list
Outfielder Cody Bellinger was placed on the 10‑day injured list with a Grade 2 strain to his left hamstring after the New York Yankees’ 3‑1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Manager Aaron Boone projected a four‑to‑six‑week recovery.
To replace Bellinger, the Yankees recalled prospect Spencer Jones from Triple‑A Scranton/Wilkes‑Barre.
