Senegalese Prime Minister Ahmadou Al Aminou Lo is scheduled to deliver his General Policy Statement (DPG) before the National Assembly on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Appointed by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye in May 2026, Lo will outline the government's major strategic orientations and roadmap.

However, the announced date has faced scrutiny regarding its legal and procedural feasibility. Reports indicate that the National Assembly is not currently in session, and convening an extraordinary session would require several administrative steps, including meetings of the Bureau and the Conference of Presidents.
