Yannick Gagnon seeks second mandate in Jonquière

Yannick Gagnon, the incumbent candidate for the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), has announced his bid for a second mandate in the Jonquière constituency. After initially hesitating to run, Gagnon decided to seek re-election following discussions with party leader Christine Fréchette.

Gagnon is basing his campaign on his previous record, stating that he has fulfilled his prior commitments. His new platform includes several key initiatives, such as addressing the Lac Kenogami water source and public lands, developing the René Lévesque artery and Place Centre-Ville, and establishing a new support center for uniformed personnel, including military, firefighters, and police officers, who may be experiencing post-traumatic stress.
