Yao clarified that her breakup with Kwok was not due to infidelity or one party leaving the other, but rather a result of growing apart as Kwok’s career became increasingly busy following his success in Taiwan. She denied rumors that she turned to adult films due to the breakup, stating it was simply a trend at the time.
