Yapı Kredi marks 82nd anniversary with $5.8 billion in international funding

Yapı Kredi is celebrating its 82nd anniversary, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the Koç Holding group. The bank emphasized its role in supporting the Turkish economy through production, investment, and employment.

In terms of international finance, the bank reported significant funding activities in the first half of 2026. This includes the successful completion of a $500 million additional Tier 1 capital bond issuance and a syndicated loan agreement totaling approximately $1.1 billion. Additionally, a $700 million DPR transaction was conducted to strengthen its long-term funding structure. These actions contributed to a total of $5.8 billion in resources secured from international markets over the past year.

Globally, the bank continues to expand its presence through Yapı Kredi Hollanda, Yapı Kredi Almanya, and Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan. The bank is also focusing on digital transformation, leveraging its innovation heritage through mobile and personalized banking services.
